Preamble
Media security has become an issue of utmost importance for countries, organizations and individuals alike, as they are exposed to frequent and sophisticated cyber attacks, and cyberspace represents a complex and constantly changing environment that requires a deep understanding of the challenges and risks facing media security. Cyber attacks range from simple attacks such as hacking personal accounts, to complex attacks that target the critical infrastructure of countries, and these attacks vary in terms of targets and mechanisms used, which makes it difficult to protect systems and data from these threats

The challenges facing media security in cyberspace are numerous, including the continuous evolution of attack techniques, as hackers work to develop new and more complex methods to penetrate systems, in addition, the shortage of qualified cadres in the field of cybersecurity represents a major challenge, as it is difficult for many organizations to adequately secure their systems, and the increasing reliance on Internet-connected devices increases the vulnerabilities of systems, making them more susceptible to attacks. Cyber attacks cause huge economic losses to countries and companies, as they lead to the leakage of sensitive data, disrupt vital systems, and undermine trust in institutions. These attacks also pose a threat to national security, as they can be exploited to interfere in the internal affairs of countries and undermine their stability. In addition, cyber attacks affect individuals, as they can lead to identity theft, extortion and defamation

This conference seeks to study the challenges and risks facing media security in cyberspace and propose a set of solutions and proposals to confront these challenges. The research also seeks to highlight the importance of cybersecurity in maintaining security and stability in the digital world
