The University’s central library is particularly responsible for the following tasks:
– Proposing reference acquisition programmes and university documentation in liaison with the libraries of the faculties and institutes
– Maintaining the post-graduate thesis and memorandum card
– Organising the documentary stock of the central library using the latest methods of processing and arrangement
– Assisting college and institute librarians in managing the structures under their authority
– Maintaining the documentary stock of the Central Library and continuously updating the inventory
– Establishing favourable conditions for the use of the documentary stock by students and professors
– Assisting professors and students in their bibliographic research
